(I am very aware how white all of these people are, but I couldn’t find any good feminist quotes from famous people of colour (well I have one from Michelle Obama but that didnt explicitly reference feminism), so if you can think of any it would be much appreciated!)

So this is what feminisim is about. The reason the word usually leaves a bad taste in my mouth, is that some women don’t talk about the equality part. More like, “Women are better than me,” and that just makes me groan. Jeffrey was once at some art thing, and this artist, who claimed to be a femenist, was taking questions. I don’t remember if he asked a question, or another guy, but the woman answered, “I don’t normally take questions from men, but go ahead.” I mean, really? You’re gonna claim you want equality and then say THAT? You’re doing it wrong.
